CRAFT CLASSES IN BURRADON

KIRKDALE COURT

TUESDAY AFTERNOON 1-3PM

The Burradon and Camperdown Forum and Places for People are delighted to announce that a craft class has been established at Kirkadale Court, Burradon, for the over 50’s.

The sessions commence at 1pm and Fiona Gray, is conducting the classes to provide the help and support to residents to develop new and improve existing skills.

The classes will also provide residents with an opportunity to renew or make new friendships and hopefully have an enjoyable afternoon in pleasant and friendly surroundings.

The sessions have been funded with grants of £1,000 from the following organisations:

RW Mann Trust
The 1989 Willan Trust
Greggs
Sir James Knott Trust

We sincerely appreciate the support of the organisations. The funds have been used to purchase materials and pay for the tutor’s fees.

The support of Places for People which has allowed the classes to be held at the Kirkdale Court Housing Scheme. It is further example of their commitment to integrating Kirkdale Court into the community and it is quickly becoming the centre of community life within the village.
